November 14, 2014 –

ATEME, Inc. wrapped up another successful Content &Communications World / Satcon exhibition in New York this week. The annual trade show at the Jacob Javits Convention Center has expended over the last several years from its start as a satellite communications show to an event that broadly showcases technology, products, services and workflow across the entertainment spectrum.

In addition to attracting media professionals from around the United States, several technology users from the many media organizations in the New York area get a rare opportunity to meet with technology providers to discuss their practical experiences in the trenches. Many of our customers are based in New York and to be able to see many of them this week was enjoyable and productive.

ATEME’s booth was very busy during the entire two-day show as many current and prospective customers stopped by to learn about our advances in both our Kyrion and TITAN product lines. HEVC development was a very hot topic as broadcasters and other customers looking for spectrum efficiencies are very interested in knowing how things are coming along with the availability of h.265/HEVC encoders and decoders.

CCW/Satcon also marks the end of a very busy North American trade show year, as customers focus on wrapping up their year-end projects. The 2015 show season begins just after the New Year, with the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
