The ATEME SmartRate® SR1000 is an innovative Statistical bitrate allocator. When paired with the ultra versatile ATEME MC3100 multiplexer, the SR1000 offers unmatched bandwidth optimization. Thanks to new statistical algorithms, typical 20 % bandwidth can be saved compared to legacy CBR video head end. Applying the latest ATEME compression technology, the AM2101 and AS2204 encoders benefit from a strong VBR efficiency. The ATEME SmartRate® SR1000 allows Operators to maintain the highest possible quality level for every channel of the Video Head End. Priority strategies can be set up to grant maximum bandwidth optimization for premium channels. The ATEME SmartRate® SR1000 allows Operators to aggregate up to 64 channels per pool and up to four synchronized pools.
