Mission

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for pre sales technical activities in support of the ATEME Inc. sales team. As an experienced solutions engineer, the candidate will be responsible for product sales demonstrations, solution design, RFP/RFI response, technical training and an escalations advocacy role for customers and partners as main pre sales activities. The candidate should bring feedback to product enhancements and should communicate in writing and through oral presentation the precise areas of the product that are causing the most frequent requests.

The successful candidate is a self starter, working under minimal guidance and is quick in identifying and prioritizing the level of the customer requests. This engineer needs to form a strong bond with the Sales Managers in the territory to achieve assigned revenue goals.

Desired Skills & Experience

Skills Required:

  • Lead and manage product trials, demos and POCs.
  • Create customer proposals (including RFP/RFI).
  • Give formal presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers.

Mission:

Prospection, sales and key account management of ATEME’s products and solutions to new and existing customers in APAC area.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and contact new customers, define sales strategy, maintain and develop long-term relationships with existing key accounts;
  • Set up and lead our network of indirect channels (partners, distributors…); suggest actions to maintain the high quality and efficiency of this network;
  • Cooperate with pre-sales department in order to set up product demonstrations and propose solutions to our potential customers;

Experience and required professional skills:

In order to support its business development, ATEME is recruiting a Junior Field Application Engineer.

Position overview

The Pre-sales Engineering group supports sales growth and deal flow by securing the “technical closing” of complex solutions. The team collaborates with sales and marketing to ensure proposed solutions accurately address customer needs, and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers.

In the Pre-sales Engineering group, the Junior Field Application engineer is in charge of preparing Demonstrations and POC (Proof of Concept), managing the pool of demo equipment and coordinate the logistics.

Main activities:

Prepare and stage demo systems

  • Select and prepare equipment, assemble and configure system
  • Validate customer use-case
  • Report and document issues/non-compliance to QA and R&D teams
  • Coordinate the shipment with the logistic team
  • Participate in setup at customer’s site
  • Provide support from HQ to the Pre-sales engineering in charge of the demo/POC

 

Maintain demo pool in operational state

  • Check equipment returned
  • Coordinate repairs if needed with RMA team

 

Help to manage efficiently the demonstration pool

  • Validate loans schedule
  • Check with sales and pre-sales that loaned equipment is returned in time

 

Required Skills:

  • Degree in computer Sciences or related technical fields
  • Knowledge of IP Networking, and video streaming technologies is a plus
  • No previous experience can be compensated by will to learn fast
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Good communication skills – Good problem solving skills
  • Able to travel in Europe, Middle-East for short periods
