IBC PREVIEW: ATEME, the leading video compression technology experts, have appointed Emmanuel Boureau as Vice President of Sales for the EMEA region

Emmanuel joins ATEME from Tandberg Television, where he was responsible for developing the company’s business across the whole EMEA region as Vice President of Sales. Previously, Emmanuel spent eight years at Harmonic, where he was European Director of Sales and Pre-Sales.

Emmanuel will join the ATEME team on September 1, 2009 and will be attending IBC 2009 under ATEME colours.

Emmanuel will be responsible for managing and growing the direct and indirect sales channels for ATEME across the region. Emmanuel will lead the introduction of advanced compression, content management and on-demand solutions for broadcasters, operators, content owners and VOD service providers for this innovative company. He will also be joining ATEME’s Executive Team, helping to define the company’s future strategy and direction.

Emmanuel Boureau graduated from the Institut Superieur de Commerce de Paris in 1983. He is 48 years old and is married with two children.
