PARIS, March 12, 2015, 6pm, ATEME (Euronext Paris : ATEME), a global leader in video compression and delivery solutions, today announced the expansion of the Company’s Board of Directors with the appointment of Jacques Galloy who also becomes chairman of the strategy committee.
As a member of its Board of Directors, ATEME will leverage Jacques Galloy’s broad expertise in the broadcast industry. From 2001 to 2014, he served on the EVS Broadcast (Euronext Bruxelles: EVS) management team, as a board member and as chief financial officer. During his tenure, he notably oversaw acquisitions and co-founded dcinex, an EVS subsidiary and the European leader in digital cinema. He was chairman of the board of dcinex for eight years until 2013. Under his leadership, EVS built a strong market position in solutions for live television and multiplied its turnover by four, now reaching € 131 million.
Jacques Galloy is also a board member at XL Video (LED display technologies), PhysIOL (medtech), X-RIS (digital radiology), RCF (radio broadcaster), Gaudeto (consulting and investment), and partner at MyDimm.com (furniture e-commerce site).
Previously, Jacques Galloy was a senior auditor at PwC, and chief financial officer of various RTL Group entities in Luxembourg, Netherlands, and Belgium. Jacques Galloy holds a degree in “Hautes Etudes Commerciales” from as well as a degree in Economics from Maastricht University (Netherlands).
