In order to support this plan, we are recruiting a US-based Chief Technology Officer.
Mission
Lead the technology strategy of ATEME.
Main Responsibilities:
The CTO will be responsible for:
- Identifying technologies that could be used by R&D to develop or improve the products and solutions, and identifying technology partners that could accelerate these innovations (through partnerships or acquisition)
- Working closely with the VP Innovation to expand and drive the activities of the CTO office and R&D team based in France. Such activities including evaluation of new technologies, technical communication in forums, conferences, and standardization bodies, as well as collaborative research projects and patents,
- Working closely with Chief Strategy Officer and VP, Global Business Development and Partnerships, and managing the technical relationship with ecosystem partnerships, such as Cloud platforms, Content Delivery Networks, DRM / CAS solutions, and media workflow solutions.
- Representing the company in standardization committees, technical conferences, and in management meetings with strategic partners and customers
- Taking the initiative in thought leadership, innovation and creativity

Experience and required professional skills:
- Previous working experience as a CTO in a software / cloud company
- MA in Engineering, Computer Science
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work within a multi-cultural team
- Ability to travel 50%+ across the USA, and minimum once a quarter to Europe.
