In order to support its growth in the US, Ateme Inc. is recruiting a Senior Procurement Engineer based in the US:

We are looking for a Senior IT procurement professional with a hi-tech (Hw, Sw) background, willing to work in a fast-paced environment, eager to embrace changes and ready to support ATEME transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Developing sourcing strategies for COTS (HW, network connectivity and services) and collaborating with internal business partners and suppliers to reduce total costs and risks;
  • Leading tenders/ RFPs/RFQs, and achieving cost savings through negotiations;
  • Helping the central procurement team to find new sources of supply in the North-America region;
  • Developing and maintain metrics to hold suppliers accountable for performance and delivery;
  • Contributing to improve Procure-to-Pay processes and tools to drive efficiency and added value services across business and Finance teams;
  • Communicating appropriately and establishing strong partnership with internal business stakeholders and with suppliers;
  • Analyzing category data and metrics to enforce Procurement category strategies and understanding customers’ needs and concerns, across categories and regions, to influence customers priorities;
  • Leading Supplier Relationship Management with strategic suppliers and with internal stakeholders to ultimately improve supplier performance and to strengthen business partnerships;
  • This position will report to the “Head of supply chain”.

Desired skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, Procurement & Supply Chain or engineering;
  • 5+ years experience in a Procurement organization;
  • Experience related to Datacenters Projects, networking projects, SaaS and hardware;
  • Strong leader who can drive category strategies and build strong relationships and trust with key stakeholders;
  • Collaborative, but also work with significant autonomy;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • French speaking could be a plus.
