From AI-powered sports and agentic operations to ultra-low-latency delivery, sovereign cloud and smarter monetization, Ateme is turning the industry’s biggest promises into working media services.
Paris, France, 3 September 2026 – The media technology industry talks endlessly about transformation. At IBC 2026, Ateme will show what it actually looks like.
Under the theme “Smarter Media. Better Business.”, Ateme will demonstrate how broadcasters, streaming platforms, service providers and sports rights holders can launch services faster, operate with less complexity, deliver better viewing experiences and create new revenue. Visitors can experience Ateme’s complete portfolio from 11 to 14 September at RAI Amsterdam, Hall 1, Booth D55.
With a focus on practical, integrated solutions rather than standalone technologies, Ateme is bringing together AI, streaming, contribution, monetization, cloud and immersive video in complete workflows designed around real operational and commercial challenges.
AI put to work for Sport and Streaming
At IBC, Ateme will show AI built into the media workflow, not added as a fashionable afterthought.
For live sports, AI-powered capabilities will identify key moments, create highlights, build continuously updated event chapters and automatically reframe content into 9:16 video for social media. A dynamic recap experience will allow viewers joining an event late to catch up and return seamlessly to the live action.
At the heart of this approach is PILOT, Ateme’s platform dedicated to the orchestration and automation of video operations. It evolves from a workflow orchestrator into the AI Control Plane for video operations, coordinating humans, Ateme agents, customer agents and infrastructure through MCP-powered interoperability to deliver autonomous, predictive and self-optimizing media services.
One streaming chain. One vendor. One number to call.
Ateme will demonstrate the entire low latency OTT streaming chain, from live encoding, origin and packaging through CDN delivery, security and monetization. The platform is open, pre-integrated and deployable on bare metal, private cloud, public cloud or hybrid infrastructure.
Featured demonstrations will include live AV1 encoding and Smart Constant Quality for more efficient video delivery, premium-content protection and multiview experiences, as well as Media over QUIC (MoQ) for ultra-low-latency contribution and distribution. Ateme will also demonstrate open APIs and MCP server integration across its streaming platform.
Monetization without the compromise
Ateme will showcase a unified advertising platform supporting live and VOD SSAI, FAST and next-generation SGAI workflows from a single stack.
Demonstrations will cover hybrid SSAI and SGAI, interactive advertising, contextual targeting, virtual channels and AI-generated virtual advertising integrated into sports content. The objective is simple: create more valuable inventory, improve the viewer experience and make more content commercially productive.
Sovereign cloud
Ateme will lead with sovereign-cloud workflows, giving media organizations greater control over where media, data and workloads reside, while retaining cloud scalability and flexible economics across regional, private and hybrid environments.
Ateme+ SaaS complements this proposition by helping companies launch, operate and scale broadcast and OTT services faster, with lower operational complexity and cost.
Experience it at IBC 2026
“The industry does not need another collection of technology demonstrations. It needs complete answers to the cost, complexity and revenue challenges facing media businesses. At IBC, Ateme will show that the future of media is not a roadmap slide. It is already working.” Remi Beaudouin, CSO
Ateme’s demonstrations will span AI and sports innovation, streaming, AI operations, monetization, sovereign cloud, Ateme+ SaaS, contribution, head-end modernization and immersive video.
