Position overview

The Pre-sales Engineer supports sales growth and deal flow by securing the “technical close” of complex solutions. He collaborates with sales and marketing to ensure proposed solutions accurately address customer needs, and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers.

The Pre-sales engineer reports to the regional presales manager.

Pre sales activities

  • Coordinates closely with sales and marketing to align solution design with customers’ business requirements.
  • RFP management; proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers’ needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm.
  • Prepares and set up proof of concept and demos in customer environments
  • Creates and deliver high-level presentations, demonstrations, and discussions in a credible and compelling manner, and position self as a trusted advisor.
  • Drives the end-to-end sales-cycle from qualification to execution including deal close.
  • Representation of ATEME at key industry forums, trade shows and other events as the local expert in ATEME technology;

 

Technical training

  • Prepare and provide systems technical training to key customers

 

Administration and documentation

  • Update the salesforce database: incident tracking and management, and knowledge base
  • Create and maintain technical notes for knowledge base of our products
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of presales tools and process

 

Required Skills:

  • Degree in computer Sciences or related technical fields

Main activities

 

The candidate will be in charge of for project deployments and technical support activities in North America. As a project leader, the candidate will be responsible for:

 

Project Management:

  • Factory acceptance tests
  • System integration and testing
  • Interoperability management

  • On-site integration & deployment with customer technical staff

 

Technical support:

Mission:

Prospection, sales and key account management of ATEME’s products and solutions to new and existing customers in APAC area.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and contact new customers, define sales strategy, maintain and develop long-term relationships with existing key accounts;
  • Set up and lead our network of indirect channels (partners, distributors…); suggest actions to maintain the high quality and efficiency of this network;
  • Cooperate with pre-sales department in order to set up product demonstrations and propose solutions to our potential customers;
  • Collect customer needs and analyse market trends.

 

Experience and required professional skills:

A solid sales background (5 years minimum) in our activity, fluency in English (Chinese, will be a plus), a high interest in new technologies and telecom, broadcast, and/or related industries.

  • Capacity to identity and qualify potential deals, to reach targets and to conclude deals;

Position overview

The Pre-sales Engineering group supports sales growth and deal flow by securing the “technical closing” of complex solutions. In the Pre-sales Engineering group, the Junior Field Application engineer is in charge of preparing Demonstrations and POC (Proof of Concept), managing the pool of demo equipment and coordinate the logistics.

Main activities:

Prepare and stage demo systems

  • Select and prepare equipment, assemble and configure system
  • Validate customer use-case
  • Report and document issues/non-compliance to QA and R&D teams
