Live from Las Vegas, April 7 2014 – day 1

If it’s April, you know most of the media professionals from around the world are gathering in Las Vegas, NV for the annual NAB Show. Over 93,000 attendees from 156 countries are here to visit over 1500 exhibitors, including ATEME.

We are proudly represented by several of our executives, product marketing, engineering and sales personnel from our headquarters in France as well as our Americas sales and pre-sales engineering team. The show is huge, with exhibits in four large halls and two outdoor pavilions. ATEME is located in the South Upper Hall and as the show opened at 9:00am on Monday we saw a heavy and steady stream of customers and interested media professionals coming by to learn about our products and services.

ATEME is showcasing several interesting technologies, including a wonderful visual demonstration of the benefits of our field programmable gate array (FPGA) architecture: the improvements in visual quality between our Gen 4 and Gen 5 H.264 encoding core, which is field upgradable to users of our CM-5000 contribution encoders. This is just one of the displays that attracted a lot of interest on day 1, and we’ll fill you in on the others throughout the week!

If you are in Vegas for the show, please stop by and see us at booth SU7102
