This breakthrough enables live immersive experiences that match the headset’s 37 pixels-per-degree fidelity, a feat previously only possible in post-production. The breakthrough is powered by Focal Point VR’s quad 3D 8K panoramic camera system and Ateme’s Titan encoder, which processes and streams high-resolution stereoscopic video directly in Apple’s MV-HEVC format.
