Being close to its partners is essential to ATEME. This is why the sales team accompanied by marketing and presales is travelling around Europe presenting our products and getting customer feedback. Five weeks ago, on Thursday, 7th May at the initiative of our German partner CS Consult GmbH, another workshop took place, this time in Berlin hosted byBetamobil, German TV service provider.
The workshop was focused on the contribution market, describing its compression aspect (legacy + new codecs), but also covering hot topics such as specific networks and umbrella/NMS software. It consisted of helping clients and customers to discover the benefits of ATEME solutions.
Nicolas MOREAU our Contribution Product Marketing Manager, ran most of the show supported by Firdaouss KOUCHTAF (Presales engineering) and Xavier GENTRIC (EMEA sales).
The audience was mainly from the Berlin-Leipzig-Dresden area, but surprisingly also from Switzerland and Bremen. These attendees were DSNG operators, terrestrial network operators, telcos, broadcasters and System Integratorss., accounting for a total of eleven companies and twenty-five people.
The workshop consisted of several presentations as well as demonstrations and Q&A session.
It was a very interesting workshop from many perspectives, such as academic study, future trends and perspectives, and new applications. We would like to express our thanks to Betamobil for kindly hosting us, as well as to CS for the efficient organization !
