Shemaroo One of the Biggest Companies in Hindi Entertainment Uses ATEME File Encoder to Transcode Hundreds of Movies into H.264 for IPTV Deployment
ATEME SA, an acknowledged leader in MPEG-4 AVC / H.264 video compression solutions, today announced that it has partnered with Traxvision, a leading Indian systems integrator of MPEG encoding equipment, to make a significant sale to Shemaroo Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.
Using the acclaimed ATEME File Encoder software solution, Shemaroo Entertainment will be transcoding hundreds of Hindi films from MPEG-2 into MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 for distribution through IPTV and VOD (Video on Demand) for Shemaroo distribution partners. H.264 will enable distribution of these films with high video quality and bandwidth efficiency.
