This solution brings together ATEME’s video compression skills, Intel’s Visual Compute Accelerator (VCA) PCIe card, and Dell’s optimized hardware, delivering 200 HD channels with premium video quality in a 1RU server, with 5W per channel. The joint solution redefines the broadcast industry density standard, a complete live and file video headend in a box, offering significant OPEX and CAPEX savings. This new solution is currently showcased at Mobile World Congress on Dell’s booth, Hall 3 Stand 3K30.
ATEME’s TITAN solution delivers the highest video quality at minimum bitrates for DTH, DTT, cable and OTT. Based on the ATEME fifth Generation STREAM© compression engine, this future-proof solution utilizes the full capabilities of Intel and Dell’s infrastructure with support for High-Efficiency-MPEG2, H264 and HEVC.
